The Potomac home is a re-conceptualization of modern design originally created by architect Bud Oglesby in 1970. Additions include steel and glass Living and Den structures flanking a renovated 2-story central structure. Texas limestone lantern towers were also added in the core of the structure to reinforce the “servant” and “served” planning inspired by the existing house “bones.” Fusing the house interiors to the lush urban site creates uncommonly comfortable contemporary spaces.
